The BD Executive is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals by generating new business within a territory.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy selling, are achievement-oriented and wish to work with innovative SaaS / Cloud centric technology.


This is a key sales role within the APAC team responsible for identification of ideal prospects and conversion into customers of voice centric business intelligence solutions integrated into and other CRM solutions. The solutions can be deployed by customers on desk based and mobile telephones.
The ideal candidate is success-driven, fast-paced, works well in a diverse team, enjoys a dynamic and changing environment and is able to identify a sector and company that can heavily influence a career.


As Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities in Australia, focusing on mid-market clients across target sectors.

  • Identify prospective clients and develop new business opportunities

  • Engage with high level executives/managers/decision makers within prospect accounts to present business solutions

  • Close business to meet or exceed sales goals

  • Negotiate prices and contracts with customers in accordance with the businesses commercial strategy to deliver maximum price yield

  • Support the wider sales community within the defined territory

  • Plan and implement strategy for achieving business development and growth targets

  • Use internal resources and be highly proficient in demonstrating the products

  • Engage in all campaign and promotional activity to increase the volume of sales in the portfolio at the targeted profitable level

  • Customer focussed and engage the rest of the business to resolve customer queries and issues

  • Ensure market intelligence is gathered and fed through the wider organisation

  • Develop a wide internal network of contacts across departments and functions in order to assist with the service delivery and growth of the customer base

  • Develop and build contacts at all levels within the prospect/customer base


Essential Experience
  • A minimum of 1-2 years selling a SaaS based solution

  • A knowledge and understanding of CRM systems

  • A superb track record of consistently hitting and exceeding targets

  • Proven experience of sales and negotiation in a commercial B2B environment

Desirable Experience
  • Experience within the CRM environment

  • Telecommunication / IT sales / Software as a Service / Cloud solutions
