This is a key role within the UK sales team responsible for the identification of ideal prospects and the conversion of these into leads to be progressed by the sales team. The solutions that will be prospected are voice centric business intelligence solutions integrated into SalesForce.com and other CRM solutions. The solutions can be deployed by customers utilising desk based and mobile telephones.

The Telemarketing Executive is responsible for identifying and engaging key decision makers within prospective customers with the objective of obtaining commitment from individuals to participate in a telephone meeting/demonstration with a Natterbox Sales Executive.

The ideal candidate is articulate and ambitious possessing good telephone skills and a solid understanding of the challenges and activities within the lead generation process. This roll will suit individuals wanting to play a key part in a fast-paced environment and that are able to identify a sector and employer that could successfully influence a sales career.

Description

As a successful Telemarketing executive you will be charged with identifying and generating qualified sales leads in the APAC region. Strong emphasis on outbound calls, you will be based out of Sydney office and work collaboratively with the regional sales team to target named accounts. You will be working towards a qualified pipeline target in addition to the number of opportunities created.

The successful candidate for this role will have 1-2 years inside sales/lead generation experience within software, ideally in a start-up environment. High activity levels and experience appointment setting with senior level decision makers within the enterprise space is also a must. Candidates must display a keen interest and understanding of software and be able to demonstrate a clear record of achievement.

Responsibilities
  • Utilising the telephone search for key decision makers at prospective customers

  • Deliver tailored messages with the objective of persuading decision makers to commit to a teleconference with a sales representative

  • Explain products/services and high level pricing models and answer questions from prospects

  • Record names and contact details and notes of conversations in SalesForce.com

  • Have input into sales scripts to better target the needs and pain points of specific individuals

  • Self-generate names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as LinkedIn, SalesForce.com, business directories and purchased lists

  • Answer enquiries from prospective customers solicited through marketing activity

  • Obtain commitment for two appointments per day via 60/80 outbound calls per day

  • Establish relevance, identified need, budget availability, decision maker, timescales

Qualifications

Essential Experience
  • 1-2 years inside sales/lead generation experience within software, ideally in a start-up environment

  • Previous experience within a phone based role.

  • Keen interest in software, with clear records of achievement

Desirable Experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM systems

  • Experience of Telecommunication / IT sales / Software as a Service / Cloud solutions
